Art

In our Art and Design department we aim to promote an appreciation and respect for Art and Design as well as engaging, challenging and inspiring students so that can they apply this to their future aspirations. We strongly believe that skills, knowledge and creativity can be learnt, and that we can develop inherent talent. As students' progress through the key stages, they will be encouraged to think critically and develop a thorough understanding of Art and Design throughout history, within a broad range of cultures, movements and within an eclectic range of artists and designers. We encourage all our students to be self-expressive and support their thinking and ideas in coming into fruition through final pieces.
