Royal Windsor Horse Show 2023

My Journey to Riding on the England 2023 team at Royal Windsor Horse Show.

On March 26th I was put forward by my Ponyclub (Dulverton West North Molton) to Trial for the England Team 2023.

After a long and hard nearly 4 hours trial and 25 other children my age trying for 5 team places. I was pulled forward 1st. A dream that I have worked so hard for in the last 10 years has final paid off.

On Sunday the 7th May we left for the Royal Windsor Horse Show, with my fantastic pony Taffy. We met up with the rest of the team and our trainer to run through games and orders. We finally travelled into the Show on Wednesday 10th May.

Now it feels very real and starting to sink in.

We rode in the Main Arena everyday and won all of our sessions so by the Sunday evening we went into the Final session with a 30 point lead but we still had to stay strong because the other teams, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland were chasing us.

Team England won by 38 points!
